  • Сancellation policy

    A. Cancellation by the Guest

    If a guest cancels their booking for any reason, the following fees apply:

    • More than 14 days before departure: ₱2,000 per person (admin fee).
    • Exception: Private tour deposits are non-refundable.
    • 8–14 days before departure: ₱7,000 per person.
    • 0–7 days before departure: 100% of the total price (no refund).
    • No refund for special offers

    All cancellation fees are non-refundable and will be charged accordingly. Guests may choose to reschedule their booking to a later date, subject to availability.

    B. Cancellation by the Resort

    If the resort must cancel due to:

    • Government-imposed weather warnings
    • Boat trip suspension by the Coast Guard

    Guests may choose one of the following options:

    1. Rebooking Guests may reschedule to the next available date at no additional cost. Rebooking is subject to availability and must be requested in advance.
    2. In case of cancellations due to a typhoon or other weather-related decisions by the Coast Guard, no refund can be issued.

    If a tour cannot be completed due to weather conditions (only upon instruction from the Coast Guard), the service not received can be rescheduled for a later date. (no refund)

    The resort is not responsible for missed flights due to delays. Please allow sufficient time in your travel schedule.

    C. Change Dates

    We charge a fee of 1,000 PHP for a date change.

    For short-notice date changes, a fee of 2,000 PHP per person may apply.

    All date changes are subject to availability.

    Please note that in the case of a downgrade when changing dates, no price adjustment or refund will be given.

  • Disclaimer & Personal Responsibility

    All guests join the tours and stay at Balabac Beach Resort at their own risk. The resort and tour operators accept no liability for:

    • Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings
    • Accidents, injuries, or deaths during the trip
    • We recommend bringing a dry bag for the boat tours.

    Guests are fully responsible for their own safety and well-being at all times.

    In the event of an accident, medical emergency, or death, all related costs (medical treatment, evacuation, rescue, or repatriation) must be covered by the guest, their family, or insurance provider.

    We strongly recommend purchasing travel and accident insurance prior to joining any tour.

  • Electricy

    We provide electricity and strong Wi-Fi. However, since we are completely remote and not located on the mainland, interruptions may occur. In the event of power or Wi-Fi issues, no refunds will be issued.

  • Island Hopping

    We always do our best to visit all planned spots. However, if the weather or sea conditions do not permit it, certain spots — including Onok Island — may not be accessible. No refunds will be issued in such cases.

  • Personal belongings of guests

    We accept no liability for the loss, damage, destruction, or malfunction of personal items or equipment. Each guest is responsible for bringing their own waterproof bags.

    If any items get wet or damaged during the island hopping tour, Balabac Beach Resort assumes no responsibility and no refunds will be issued.
